My wife and I are definitely Volvo fans, and are currently on our 4th car from Volvo.
This has included two XC60s, a 2010 model, and then a brand new 2015 model about two years ago. I would love to jump into the new one too, but our 2-year-old car is still far too good to justify doing so.
I've been wondering about a couple of things for a while, and I don't recall finding the information in the manual before now. Perhaps you guys can help.
We have an SE Lux model, in Auto, but with Sport mode (no flappy paddles, though).
Can you tell me what exactly changes when you put the car in Sport mode? I don't bother with the gear lever to manually change gears, as the extra performance is enough for me - and very satisfying. However, is it just the engine dynamics that change, or does the suspension also stiffen up (which is something my motorcycle does)?
I feel like the car's handling sharpens up as well, but I don't know if that's just my imagination.
Any info appreciated.
